If you’re afraid of the Easter bunny, don’t be. His style is hoppin’ this Spring season!

Barely there pinks, mellow yellows, minty greens, baby blues and frosty purples bring a youthful charm to some seriously dressed up looks.

And, layering these classic pastels with some basic colors like black, white, grey or brown will make those candy colors pop without washing out.

These outfits from Whyred, Jil Sander, Burberry, Marc Jacobs and Versace do a good job of balancing the ordinary and eccentric by simply layering normal every day looks like a blazer and pairing it with different hues.

Mixing up existing solid color furnishings with pastel texture finishes can create beautiful accent elements for the home. Especially, in rooms that have a connection to the outdoors: foyers, indoor patio's and even children's rooms.

This pretty in pink paint and purple wallpaper from Farrow & Ball, yellow rug from The Rug Company, green outdoor fabric from Perennials and blue ceramic tile from Ann Sacks will brighten up a room and spark a spring mood.

So go to the mall and buy yourself something pastel! Maybe you can take a pic with the Easter bunny too….

Why Wait? Wear White!

Whoever said you can’t wear white before Memorial Day shouldn’t be doling out fashion advice.

White is one of those colors that’s on trend every season, especially in the Spring. It’s the go-to bright color that’s not too bold but daring enough to get noticed.

Take this look from Michael Kors Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Layering the same shade of white in various textures creates a simple and sexy look that works hard during the day and plays at night.

And the kitchen is no different.

From white quartz to white lacquered cabinets, incorporating a range of materials in the same shade of white gives this kitchen the same type of multidimensional vibe.

With just a hint of gold, white on white never looked so right!
